You're a Sole Proprietor Overpaying Self-Employment Tax. Let's Fix the Structure.
Every dollar of profit you earn as a sole proprietor gets hit with 15.3% self-employment tax. The S-Corp election, done right, saves an estimated $8,000 to $12,000 a year once it is active. The S-Corp Setup builds the whole structure so less tax happens in the first place. If the move is not worth it for you yet, we will tell you.
This is offense, not compliance.
A tax preparer files what already happened. They report the number. The S-Corp Setup sets the structure so a smaller number happens in the first place. That is the difference between filing your taxes and lowering them, and it is the whole reason to move before more of this year's profit lands on the wrong side of the line.
Is This You?
The S-Corp Setup is the on-ramp for owners past the hobby stage and losing real money to tax they do not have to pay. It is the entry tier, not the flagship.
This fits if you're
- A solo service business owner or 1099 contractor
- Roughly $150K to $500K in revenue
- Running with no LLC, no S-Corp, and no real bookkeeping
- Profitable enough that the election pays for itself
- Past the hobby stage, but too early for a full proactive tax strategy engagement
This is not the fit if you're
- Under roughly $100K in net profit, where payroll and filing overhead can outweigh the savings
- Already an S-Corp with clean books, you are ready for tax strategy or CFO work
- Looking for someone to file last year's return and move on
Not sure which side you land on? That is exactly what the call is for. We will tell you straight.

No Surprise Fees
Here is exactly what's yours to buy and what's ours to build. A few things you pay for directly, because they should stay in your name:
- Your own LLC formation and state filing fees, through an attorney or a service like Incfile
- Your own QuickBooks Online subscription
- Your Gusto payroll subscription. We set it up and run it for you, and Gusto bills the software fee to you directly
- Legal fees, if you use an attorney to form the entity
We do not act as your registered agent or attorney. Everything after formation, EIN, election, comp study, and books, is ours to handle.
Questions Owners Actually Ask
Can you guarantee the S-Corp election?
We guarantee the work: formed correctly, filed on time, reasonable compensation documented. A new LLC filing within the election window is a timely election, effective from day one. What no one can guarantee is IRS or state processing timelines. Be suspicious of anyone who promises the IRS's behavior.
I already earned income this year as a sole proprietor. Can you fix that?
No, and neither can anyone else. Income earned before your LLC is formed stays taxed as sole proprietor income. That is why timing matters: every month unformed is more income on the wrong side of the line.
Do I need an S-Corp at all?
If you are a profitable solo service business over roughly $100K in net profit, almost certainly yes. Below that, the payroll and filing overhead can outweigh the savings. We will tell you honestly if it is not worth it for you.
Why do I need payroll?
An S-Corp owner must pay themselves a real W-2 salary. Payroll is what makes the election defensible. It starts once your election is active, not before.
Do you form the LLC for me?
We guide you through it, but you form it through your own attorney or a formation service so you own the entity directly and the legal relationship stays clean. We handle everything after: EIN, election, comp study, books.
What's not included?
State filing fees, your QuickBooks subscription, your Gusto payroll software fee, and legal fees are paid by you directly. We set up and run Gusto for you, but Gusto bills the software fee to you. We do not act as your registered agent or attorney.
How fast can this happen?
The one thing that gates everything is you forming the LLC. Once it exists, we move. We will hand you two recommended formation services so you are not stuck choosing.
